Pramod has several qualifications and is approved as a guide and naturalist by the Government of Rajasthan and is lucky enough to have Keoladeo Ghana National Park in his home town.
For the last 15 years, he has led wildlife and bird watching holidays in northern and central India, cycling tours in Rajasthan, North and South India and cultural tours in Rajasthan. Pramod has worked for several British tour operators and has excellent communication skills.
In his spare time he enjoys bird watching, cycling, hockey and cricket.
He really enjoys meeting people from different countries and backgrounds and loves to share the wildlife and birds, local culture and beautiful country of India with them.
Pramod’s advice for someone visiting India is to bring antibacterial hand gel with them, energy bars or sweets if you are on a cycling trip and some pens to give to local children if there is time to visit a school. He says that warm clothes are essential if you visit from November to March as the mornings and evenings can be cold. Also remember to pack a sense of humour and patience, as they are required to give real enjoyment to your holiday in India. It is a developing country and the people, food and culture is different to yours.
