About Harish Kumar

Having finished his High School education and playing baseball for the Indian National Team, Harish went on to study Economics and History at the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur. Once he had completed his course he decided, more than 20 years ago, to work in Tourism and Wildlife.

Born in Kashmir and raised in Bharatpur, home to the world famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Harish had easy access to wildlife and nature on his door step. He is a very keen bird watcher and photographer and can see wildlife “a mile off” – he has eyes like a hawk.

He has guided for many years, leading small photographic and bird watching trips as well as wildlife, culture, adventure and cycling trips and also been involved with bird counts in several parks in Rajasthan. He has worked independently and for several British and American Companies and has guided in most of the states in India and also occasionally in Nepal.

He knows everyone there is to know and will do his absolute best to ensure your time in Nepal, India and Sri Lanka runs very smoothly and you have a holiday experience to remember and share with friends and family.
