Description

Day 1
Arrive in Delhi and transfer by private car to a 3* hotel and relax.

Day 2
Full day of sightseeing in Old and New Delhi

Day 3
All day transfer by private car to Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Stay in 3* lodge on the outside of the Tiger Reserve, close to the main gate entrance.

Day 4 – 6
Three full days in Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve in a private jeep with a park guide – looking for tigers, mammals and birds.

Day 7
Transfer by private car to Nainital, via the town of Ramnagar and cross the dam, then stop for a short walk to the Corbett Falls before the ascent to Nainital at 1938m. Free afternoon to relax in the hotel or take an OPTIONAL walk down in to the town.

Day 8 & 9
Two full days to relax in Nainital and enjoy the views of the Himalayas. Take a boat on to Lake Naini and a cable car up to Snow View viewpoint. There are several OPTIONAL walks and places to visit nearby – zoo, governor house, mosque, cave garden or temple.

Day 10
Leaving Nainital behind us, we descend from the hill station back to Ramnagar where we meet up with our jeep transport for Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. Lunch at a local restaurant before entering the reserve and driving about 50km along forest tracks to the Government Accommodation alongside Ramganga Reservoir, right in the middle of the Reserve – basic accommodation with ensuite facilities and buffet style meals.

Day 11 – 13
Three full days in Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve in a private jeep with a park guide – looking for tigers, elephants, mammals and birds.

Day 14
A long driving day, returning to the main park gates before driving back to Delhi.

Day 15
Tour ends – transfer to airport – return home or onward travel
