Rajasthan on Two Wheels

A fully supported cycling trip taking you to cities and through the villages of rural Rajasthan, seeing both culture and wildlife.


Day 1 
Arrive in Delhi and transfer by private car to a hotel. Afternoon free to relax and check bike. 

Day 2 
Morning cycling for 26km, then sightseeing in Old and New Delhi before boarding the train to Jaipur. Check in to hotel for 2 nights.

Day 3 
Sightseeing in Jaipur to the fort, lake, palace and observatory – no cycling. OPTIONAL evening visit to see a movie. 

Day 4 
Drive for 2 hours before cycling 98km on flat roads to Pushkar. OPTIONAL evening camel ride to see sunset.

Day 5 
Sightseeing in Pushkar to the Holy Lake and Temple followed by cycling through the countryside for 28km. Drive 3-4 hours and then cycle 35km to Kumbhalgarh.

Day 6 
Morning visit to Kumbhalgarh Fort and cycle 68km on quiet back roads. Drive to Udaipur for a 2 night stay.

Day 7 
Sightseeing in Udaipur including the Holy Temple, Palace, Gardens, Lake and Nehru Park for sunset. Cycling 32km.

Day 8 
One hour bus ride and then cycle 60km before driving 1 hour to Chittorgarh to the fort and overnight stay.

Day 9 
Cycle 58km from the hotel and drive to Bundi for overnight stay. 

Day 10 
Sightseeing in Bundi and visit the Step Wells. Cycle 65km to Indragarh and then drive 2 hours to Ranthambore National Park for 3 nights.

Day 11 – 12 
Three game drives in Ranthambore National Park searching for tigers and other wildlife and an afternoon visit to the fort.

Day 13 
Drive for 1 hour, cycle 35km and then drive 3 hours to Bharatpur, home to the world famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park where there are nearly 400 species of bird. Afternoon visit to the bird park and cycle 25km. Overnight in Bharatpur.

Day 14 
Cycle 30km to Fatephur Sikri for sightseeing and then drive to Agra. Visit the Red Fort. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 15
Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal and marble factory with an afternoon train back to Delhi.

Day 16 
Tour ends – transfer to airport. Return home or onward travel.
