Ishwar’s journey to being a lead trek guide is that of toils and rigors.
He entered the trekking fraternity as a porter, in 2005.

His aptitude and dedication soon led him to a promotion to the ranks of assistant trek guide by 2009. His maturity and quick learning ability landed him his first job as trek guide in 2012 after completing his first aid and trek guide course where he earned his “Guide License”. Since then, he has not only grown in stature as a guide, he has enhanced his capability with Advanced Wilderness First Aid training, a course specializing in Mountain Medicine & Treatments and Tour Leader trainings.
