A Classic Journey Through Rajasthan

A shortened version of the “historic Rajasthan” itinerary, taking you to the highlights of this colourful state including Ranthambore national park and sightseeing in Delhi and Agra.


Day 1 
Arrive Delhi and transfer by private car to the railway station. Board train to Agra (approx 4 hours) and check in to hotel. Afternoon visit to the Red Fort in Agra.

Day 2 
An early morning visit to the Taj Mahal and Marble factory before driving to Fatepur Sikri for sight seeing. Drive to Bharatpur (approx 1 hour) and take a train to Ranthambore National Park (approx 4 hours). Check in to hotel for 3 nights.

Day 3 – 4
4 game drives in Ranthambore National Park searching for tigers and other wildlife. 

Day 5 
Drive to Bundi (approx 3 hours) and visit Taragarh fort and village. Overnight stay. 

Day 6 
Drive to Udaipur (approx 4 -5 hours) via Chittorgarh Fort and take a tuk-tuk ride. 2 nights in Udaipur.

Day 7 
Sightseeing in Udaipur including the Holy Temple, Palace, Gardens and Nehru Park for sunset. 

Day 8 
Drive to the “Blue City” of Jodphur (approx 4 – 5 hours) visiting the Jain Temples at Ranakpur on the way.

Day 9 
Sightseeing in Jodphur to the fort, market, museum and free time.

Day 10 
Drive to Pushkar (approx 2 – 3 hours) and free afternoon to relax – take an evening camel ride to see the sunset.

Day 11 
Morning sightseeing in Pushkar to the Holy Temple and Lake before driving to the “Pink City” of Jaipur for 2 nights (approx 3 – 4 hours). 

Day 12 
Sight seeing in Jaipur including the fort, palace, lake and observatory. OPTIONAL evening visit to the cinema to see a movie.

Day 13 
Leave Jaipur early and drive to Delhi, (approx 4 - 5 hours) and check in to the hotel for overnight stay. Afternoon sightseeing in Old and New Delhi. Take a rickshaw ride to the mosque in Old Delhi before visiting Raj Ghat, Government Buildings, India Gate and Humayun’s Tomb.

Day 14 
Tour ends – transfer to airport – return home or onward travel.
